The Savers' Pot #2

It's time for..... THE SAVERS POT! It's been raining cats and dogs recently. Times like this makes me want to laze in bed a little longer. This savers pot is so easy to make! The best time to cook is before bed time; just dump everything in and leave it there until you wake up the next day.

Do you know lentils are good for dogs? Because it's alkaline, it does not cause gas! An alternative source of protein.

And wolfberries also contains antioxidants that helps balance their immune function.

Ingredients
1.5kg beef cubes
2 apples (cut into cubes)
1 potato (cut into cubes)
1 carrot (cut into cubes)
200g winter melon
1 cup green beans (soaked overnight)
1 cup red beans (soaked overnight)
1 cup black beans ( soaked overnight)
2 tbsp wolfberries

Steps:
1. Place the winter melon and apples at the bottom of the slow cooker. (Because they contain higher amount of water, it would not char easily)
2. Add in half portion of meat.
3. Add green, red, and black beans.
4. Add in the rest of the meat.
5. Add in wolfberries, potato, and carrot.
6. Cover the pot and switch it to high. Slow cook it for at least 5 hours.

You may portion the stew in containers. Serve at room temperature.
