Fruity Meatloaf

This recipe makes 3 meals for my 28kg dog. For smaller dogs, you can use smaller containers to make smaller loaves.

Do you know.....
Barley contains enzymes that benefits our dogs' digestive systems? And apples are high in fiber and rich in vitamin C and A? Apples also contains omega 3 and 6 which is good for their coats and skin! Just be careful not to feed them with their cores and seeds as they contain cyanide and this is toxic to dogs.

Ingredients
600g grounded beef
1 apple
1/2 cup pumpkin
1/2 cup barley (soaked in water overnight)
5 tbsp bread crumbs
2 tbsp blueberries
2 tbsp coconut oil

Steps:
1. Coarsely grind apple, pumpkin and blueberries.
2. Mix all ingredients together.
3. Lay a cling wrap over a container and place a portion of meat in it to form a patty.
4. Allow the meatloaves to rest in the fridge for about 5-10mins
5. During that time, preheat oven to 170C.
6. Remove the cling wrap and place meatloaves onto the baking tray.
7. Bake for 45mins.

Serve at room temperature.
